Jason serves as the Water Program and Policy Director. In this role, he will help guide HEC’s program goals to improve water quality, reduce pollution, and protect water resources for future generations of Hoosiers. Jason brings many years of experience advancing environmental stewardship, water resource management, and community resilience. From serving in the AmeriCorps NCCC program to working for over 17 years at the local municipal government level, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to protecting our waterways and engaging communities. As a stormwater educator and sustainability coordinator, Jason led cleanups in the Upper White River watershed, youth stewardship camps, green infrastructure installations, and rain barrel workshops. He has spent years promoting best management practices to protect our waterways and has worked diligently to bring diverse stakeholders together to drive meaningful policy change. Jason holds a Bachelor of General Studies from IU Kokomo and enjoys spending time with his family in nature, running on the greenways, kayaking, and gardening.
