Legal & Regulatory Director, Organization of MISO States

Brad is an energy attorney who serves as the Legal & Regulatory Director for the Organization of MISO States. OMS represents the collective interests of its 17 members, including 15 state utility commissions, before the Midcontinent Independent System Operator and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on topics including generation interconnection, transmission expansion, DER integration, and resource adequacy. Prior to joining OMS, Brad was an Administrative Law Judge with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission from 2015-2022.

Brad earned a law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law with a Certificate in Energy & Environmental Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Purdue University. Brad lives in Indianapolis with his wife and two dogs who enjoy backcountry camping and promoting local music.
