UPCOMING WALKS & TALKS

Sunday, August 15 at 10 am: EDIBLE & MEDICINAL PLANTS

Take a fascinating new look at plants that grow along the White River in Madison County and learn which ones are edible and which can even be used to treat common ailments! We will take a leisurely stroll down the trail, looking at some of the abundance of edible and medicinal wild plants that grow in our area. Many of the plants we will see will be common backyard plants and garden “weeds” while others are primarily found in woodland areas. We will discuss ID, harvesting, and uses of these plants as well as safe and ecologically responsible wildcrafting practices. This free class is open to the public and sponsored by White River Shiatsu in Anderson! Registration required.
