Join the Hoosier Environmental Council for a bicycle adventure–
the 7th Annual Ride for the Mounds (Greenway)!
Ride with us in 2021!
Pre-registration only! Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. eastern on 9/16.
Registration for the Ride for the Mounds is now closed. There is no walk-in registration this year as we are requiring all participants to provide proof of COVID vaccination before the event to ensure everyone’s safety.
Due to COVID precautions and requirements that all participants are fully vaccinated, only pre-registrations are allowed this year. If you are already registered, all required documents must be submitted by noon on Friday, September 17. In order to ensure a safe event for all participants, registrations that haven’t submitted their proof of vaccination and release forms, or made arrangements with an HEC staff member, will be refunded and not permitted to participate in the Ride. Thanks for your understanding! Please contact Bob Weaver at bweaver@hecweb.org with any questions.
We’re excited to be back to an in-person bicycle event in 2021 with the Ride for the Mounds Greenway, brought to you by Hoosier Environmental, Mounds Greenway and our conservation partners in East Central Indiana.
We will have three bicycle routes, the longest of which will traverse the White River corridor in East Central Indiana via country roads and three connected trails including the Cardinal Greenway. Rides will begin and end at Canoe Country in Daleville, Indiana, with on-site check-in beginning at 11 and first riders departing soon after.
Routes are out and back.
Note
We have special registration for nurses and first responders ($15). You want to throw a Mounds Greenway t-shirt in with the deal? Just $15 through the ride registration.

Prior to the ride, we will update you on the latest developments in creating the Mounds Greenway and following the event there will be a delicious boxed lunch for every rider from Sea Salt and Cinnamon in Muncie, drinks and social time. The Ride for the Mounds highlights just some of the trails, parks, hardwood forests, wetlands, and historic resources of Madison and Delaware County White River corridor.
