Water and Rain Barrels Workshop – Indy’s Thriving Neighbors Series

Join the Indianapolis Office of Sustainability and Indy Parks for their free, all-ages workshop series – Indy’s Thriving Neighbors! These seven workshops are designed to be sustainability- and climate-focused for community members to learn more about different aspects of environmental action and wellbeing.

Participants of this workshop will learn all about the present and future states of Central Indiana’s water supply and how to manage water at your household with the future in mind. Join the Marion County Soil & Water Conservation District for a presentation on rain barrels and a demonstration build of a rain barrel. The first 10 participants to register will also receive a free rain barrel! the White River Alliance will present on the White River Report Card. Brookside Park is adjacent to Pogue’s Run, a tributary to the White River.
