Home Energy Rebates Workshop – Indy’s Thriving Neighbors Series

Join the Indianapolis Office of Sustainability and Indy Parks for their free, all-ages workshop series – Indy’s Thriving Neighbors! These seven workshops are designed to be sustainability- and climate-focused for community members to learn more about different aspects of environmental action and wellbeing.

Join staff from the Hoosier Environmental Council as they teach you how to take advantage of federal incentives! New savings on appliances, energy efficiency upgrades, electric vehicles, and clean energy are now available through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Learn how to take advantage of the IRA incentives depending on your budget, residence, and income level. These upgrades will lower your home’s energy costs and help manage indoor asthma triggers. The IRA offers us all a chance to directly impact our community by reducing our state’s greenhouse gas emissions and addressing air pollution – but we have to take advantage of it to make it work.
