The Indiana Coalition for Independent Redistricting will gather to commemorate the birthday of Elbridge Gerry, the father of gerrymandering. We’ll start in the 7th Congressional district at Arsenal Park, where the grill will be fired up and hotdogs and hamburgers (including veggie ones) will be available. At 7 p.m. we will head north to Canterbury Park, which is located in the 5th Congressional District at 5510 Carvel Ave. Ice cream will be served at Canterbury Park and volunteers are needed to pass out literature and collect signatures. Feel free to walk, bike or drive from park to park with your signs calling for an end to gerrymandering.
