A Broad Overview of HEC’s Legislative Priorities, and a Spotlight on Our Advocacy for Solar Energy & Drinking Water Protection

We’ll be providing a written summary of the victories, areas of progress, and challenges this legislative session soon, but in the meantime check out our Executive Director’s videotaped remarks at April 22, 2017’s March for Science-Indianapolis, in which he discussed the anti-rooftop solar bill 309 and the push to increase the staff charged with protecting Indiana’s drinking water systems.

While the legislative session has concluded, HEC continues to engage Hoosiers on public policy matter all year long, through presentations before large community groups and through HEC supporters hosting Greening Your Community events — house parties and gatherings where we can update communities on pending legislation and other important environmental issues.  To learn more – and perhaps even host one yourself! – please click here.
