Factory Farm, Right to Harm?

While HEC and our partners have managed to stop some of the most damaging bills introduced this session, two proposed policies remain that would significantly weaken the ability to slow the damage caused by polluting factory farms: SJR 7, a highly controversial constitutional “right to farm” amendment, and SB 373, a bill that would likely stop whistle-blowers and employees at factory farms from revealing cases of unsafe food production, environmental damage, and animal cruelty.

Join us for our next webinar, and learn how you can help HEC stop these two dangerous bills.

Date: Friday, March 29
Time: 12 noon – 1:00 PM

For more information, please contact Falon French, HEC’s Outreach Coordinator, at ffrench@hecweb.org.
