Northeast Indiana is a great place to grow up, raise a family, and make an impact on the community. And imagine what life would be like with better transit options, cleaner energy sources, pristine rivers, and more green spaces!
Our brisk two hour forum on Saturday, September 11th brings the best of two types of voices together to discuss greening Fort Wayne: the local and the state.
Join dynamic, local community leaders, and the engaging staff of Indiana's largest environmental policy organization, the Hoosier Environmental Council, for a lively discussion of key environmental issues facing Northeast Indiana and Indiana as a whole.
We'll discuss how people in Fort Wayne can make a local impact, and how they can get involved in the 2011 Indiana legislative session.
After our forum, we'll break for an informal reception. And then our friends at Fort Wayne Outfitters will close out the event getting you primed up for biking, kayaking, or whatever suits your fancy.
See you on the second Saturday in September!
