Agriculture is an important component of Indiana’s economy and a way of life for many Hoosiers; however, modern industrial livestock operations are not the solution to Indiana’s economic woes.
In fact, embracing these new agriculture practices may cause more harm than good in the long run.
The Hoosier Environmental Council is hosting a free webinar where you will learn about the environmental problems inherent in the normal practices of confinement livestock operations. We will discuss how CAFOs and Factory Farms add to air and water pollution from their largely unregulated waste management practices.
