CAFO Watch Conference (Confined Animal Feeding Operation)
This event is sponsored by the Socially Responsible Agricultural Project (SRA)
Registration: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Conference: 9:30 to 4:00 p.m.
*Chesterfield is on Eastern Daylight Time, the same time as Indianapolis.
Goals:
(1)Gain educational tools to communicate effectively about the environmental and health impacts of confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs) with local, state, and federal officials.
(2) Network with the state-wide Indiana CAFO Watch Group and with other grassroots groups.
(3) Raise awareness of environmental and health issues with confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs) in Indiana, our nation, and the world.

There is a $10.00 registration fee that includes a continental breakfast, and non-CAFO meats and milk products, meat, vegetarian, or vegan choices, locally grown and seasonal fruits and vegetables, included in the lunch buffet.
