Greening Your Community

The Hoosier Environmental Council’s Greening Your Community Initiative kicked off last November and is still going strong!

Are you motivated to make a positive difference in your community and across the state? Join us for a “Greening Your Community” House Party! The Hoosier Environmental Council is looking to bring the momentum of our annual Greening the Statehouse event to communities across the state!

Each house party will have a showing of some short videos about big issues coming up in the 2017 legislative session as well as a discussion aimed at getting people charged up to help with the next session. These in-your-community house parties aim to be a natural follow-up to our annual Greening the Statehouse gatherings in Indianapolis — to get fellow green-minded citizens organized in your community!

Events are planned all across the state – please visit often as the list below is constantly being updated as more events are planned!

If you are interested in hosting or attending an event, please contact Amanda Shepherd at ashepherd@hecweb.org.
