How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things That Climate Can’t Change
HEC’s admiration of Josh Fox grows stronger with a screening of the third in his trilogy of environmental films
“What are the things that climate change can’t destroy? What are those parts of us that are so deep that no storm can take away?” ~Josh Fox
After being inspired by Josh Fox at our 7th Annual Greening the Statehouse in 2014, Hoosier Environmental Council has been anxiously awaiting “what’s next” from the passionate environmental documentarian. When we learned that How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things That Climate Can’t Change is best seen as a community, we knew we wanted to share it with you.
Halfway through a 100-city tour, the film had received a standing ovation after each and every screening. Often times viewers erupted in dance parties! How to Let Go is the most emotional of the trilogy, intended to make you enthusiastic about going back out there and doing something – YOUR thing – to make a difference.
HEC is partnering with IndyFringe to bring you How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things That Climate Can’t Change on July 20 at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm). A brief discussion (and possibly a dance party!) will follow the film. Seating is limited, so please reserve your ticket today!
Tickets are free, but donations are very much appreciated to offset the HEC and IndyFringe staff time involved in organizing this event! IndyFringe will offer a cash bar. A HUGE THANK YOU to eScrapinc for letting us borrow a projector for the screening.
